JAMMU: Directorate of Sainik Welfare (DSW) today informed that Jammu Kashmir Ex-Services League (JKESL) is a private organization and any person entering into any type of transaction in connection with sale/purchase of plots/land or any other project undertaken by JKESL, shall be doing it as per his/her own will, convenience and in his/her personal capacity.
In a public notice issued today, the DSW said “It is for the information of all concerned that Jammu Kashmir Ex-Services League (JKESL) is an NGO/Private Organization and any person entering into any type of transaction in connection with sale/purchase of plots/land or any other project undertaken by JKESL, shall be doing it as per his/her own will, convenience and in his/her personal capacity.
The individual shall be personally responsible for any commercial transaction or deal with the JKESL and the Jammu and Kashmir Government shall have no liability in any of the land deals/other projects undertaken by the JKESL.”
