JAMMU:  Sewa Bharti, J&K and Ladakh in collaboration with Central University of Jammu today organized an educational visit to Indian Space Research organisation (ISRO) laboratories in CUJ.

Thirty five students of Dristi Girls Hostel visited the various labs of ISRO and were briefed about them in detail. During the visit the girl students from Sewa Bharti performed cultural events at the university with a special programme where they sang the glory of “Bharat Maa” in 16 different languages of India.

Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu Prof.  Sanjeev Jain, appreciated the selfless service provided by Sewa Bharti in nation building and the region. He emphasised that the university will bring out collaborative plans with Sewa Bharti on education so that the expertise of CUJ faculty may be utilised for the education of girls residing in their hostels. He gave a slogan “Ak din Sewa Bharti ke Saath” (One day with Sewa Bharti) so that university faculty can contribute to their humanitarian works. Prof. jain facilitated Sh. Jaidev Dada, Sewa Bharti Northern region, organisation secretary, for his dedication and contributions to the cause.

Earlier Prof. Vinay Kumar, Convener SDCSS, ISRO welcomed all the students. During the program Registrar Prof. Yashwant Singh, Deans, Heads and Faculty members of various departments were present.
