BHADERWAH: Two days training program cum session organised by District Judiciary Bhaderwah for advocates on the three new criminal laws concluded here in the premises of District Court Complex Bhaderwah today .The event witnessed the active participation of the legal fraternity for two days.
The program was graced by Umesh Sharma Sub Judge Bhaderwah as resource person . In his remarks, Sharma emphasized the significance of understanding and adapting to the new legal frameworks, stating, “The three new criminal laws: Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, represent a monumental shift in our legal system. It is imperative for advocates to thoroughly comprehend these changes that have been incorporated in the said laws .
He delivered a detailed and insightful power point presentation on the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), previously known as the Indian Penal Code. Sub-Judge Bhaderwah , Umesh Sharma captivated the audience with an in-depth power point presentation on the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), formerly the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The event saw good participation from members of the Bar, who actively engaged with the resource person through interactive discussions and queries. The two days program cum session not only provided a platform for advocates to enhance their legal acumen but also reinforced the collective goal of upholding justice and legal integrity in light of the newly enacted laws which will be implemented from July 01 .
