GoI not considering any proposal to scrap article 370

NEW DELHI: Ministry of Home Affairs says government of India is not considering any proposal to scrap article 370 which gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir. In a reply to a question raised by Parliament Member Ashwani Kumar, the Ministry for Home Affairs Government of India stated that there is currently no proposal under consideration of the Government. Kumar had asked whether Government is committed to scrapping Article 370 of the Constitution which gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
