• Co-curricular activities play role in overall development of students: Prof Hamal  

 

RAJOURI: Students of women hostel  of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University held  cultural evening in which the students presented events and skits on variety of topics. In the programme, Vice Chancellor Prof Irshad Ahmed Hamal was chief guest while Registrar and Dean of Students Mohammad Rashid Chowdhary as guest of honour. The programme was organised under the supervision of the office of Dean of Students in which girl students of various courses participated and presented various items including songs, skits and mimicry.

 

Addressing the students, Vice Chancellor Prof Irshad Ahmed Hamal termed such events as booster of personality. He said that these activities play vital role in overall development of the students and they should continue to take part in such events. He appreciated students, Hostel staff and Dean office to organise such programmes.

 

Meanwhile in his address, Dean of Students and Registrar Mohammad Rashid Chowdhary expressed pleasure over successful programme conducted by the students and appreciated students for taking part in it. He said that girl students of this University in past had participated in various inter-university  and national cultural events and have proved there mettle. He hoped that the practice will be continued in future for grooming the students. Registrar also thanked Vice Chancellor for attending the event as Chief Guest.
