- Mir Sarwar will be seen with Sunil Shetty in ‘Hunter’
- ‘Am I Next’ and ‘The Era of 1990’ linedup for release
JAMMU: Mir Sarwar born and raised in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian film actor has convinced and brought several film makers to shoot in J&K so that local talent gets some exposure. “Filmmakers want to shoot in Kashmir and other parts of J&K and subsidy is playing a very important role in that”, he told JK Monitor.
Moreover, after the success of ‘Mission Majnu’ which released on NETFLIX, Mir Sarwar will be seen with Sunil Shetty in ‘Hunter’. He has three films lined up to get released this month.
He will be seen in ‘Hunter’ starring Sunil Shetty which will release on 22nd March on Amazon Mini TV. He said," It was amazing to share the screen with one of your favourite action heroes. I remember when we were doing a fight sequence of the film, he taught me some valuable lessons. There was one sequence where he told me to keep hand in front of the head so that i will not get injured".
I remember watching him in Balwan, Waqt Hamara Hai, Mohra when I was a teenager. I even spoke to him that I was a huge fan of his double punch technique. He is one of the most humble stars and an amazing human being.
‘Am I Next’
JAMMU: Mir Sarwar will also be seen in a film called ‘Am I Next’ which will be streaming on Zee5 from 17th March. It's always a pleasure to work with my dear friend Rahat Kazmi who has directed those film. It's a film about a very sensitive topic and Anushka Sen has done a great job while portraying the lead character in this film.
- The Era of 1990
JAMMU: Another film of Mir Sarwar will release in theatres on 17th March is (The Era of 1990). “It's one of the best films I am part of till date. Shahid Kazmi was inspired by the film Pushpa and decided to make a film on the same pattern and despite the budget constraints, he made a wonderful film, Mir said.
Along with Mir Sarwar, the actors are Arjun Manhas, Sara Khan, Shadab Khan Ray Parihar, Shanky Sharma, Aarti bhagat , Veena Puthran, Rajeev Rana and others.
Mir Sarwar was awarded by the government of J&K in performing arts category as well on 26th of January as well. He said, “I am thankful to my teacher's, my family, my friends and my fans for their support and prayers over the years which made it possible”.
His directorial debut film Bed No. 17 will also release in April this year and other two projects which he is directing ‘Fundhbaaz’ & ‘Kuch Baqi Hai’ are under production right now. He said that I believe in contributing towards the society which has given him so much of love.
