Mushaira-Cum-Cultural Programme Held at Uri

BARAMULLA:  A Mushaira-cum-Cultural Programme was organized at Lagama Uri, by Information Department in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and languages today.  The SDM Uri, District Information Officer, Baramulla and Executive Officer MC Uri were present on the occasion, besides huge public gathering.  On this occasion, two books entitled ‘Fikhri-Akhirat’ and ‘Akaas’ were released. Cultural Programs were also presented on this occasion.  A Mehfil-i-Mushaira was also organized in which 15 poets participated.  Later prizes were distributed among the participants.
