JAMMU: Rangshala Sansthan in the Weekend Theatre series staged Hindi play “ “Khyaali Pulao” at RTGS Studio, Jammu written & Directed by Sh. Umesh Singh renowned theatre personality of the State which was highly liked by the audience presented on the occasion. Story of todays play revolves around three idle lazy boys Ramu, Mohit and Shanker who in reality wants to get much more but in return wants to do nothing. Each of them have story of his own that how without doing nothing they will get instant money.
Ramu tells that he is planning to have business of his own, with one rupee coin he will start his business and one day he will be the business tycoon of the world. Similarly Mohit tells his own planning that his father is going to retire very soon and he will invest all his fathers money in the horse race. He can surely win as one of the Palmist had told him that if he will stake his all money on white horse his money will be double troubled and one day he will be millionaire.
Shanker had his own but a cruel story. He said that he is planning to marry a rich girl who will be his key to success. His in-laws will feed him for entire of his life. Ramu and Mohit questions him that if his in-laws will not fulfill his dreams then what? Here he expresses his views that when butter doesn’t comes out with straight finger one has to bend the fingers. He will torture his wife to get money from his in-laws.
On hearing this Ramu and Mohit drops their idea to get easy money , they also pacify the Shanker not to be so cruel towards his wife when he will marry. Both tells that each one of them have one cute sister, if same thing happens with their sisters what they will do. Shanker says sorry to his friends and each of them promises to leave the “khyaali pulao” and will work hard to make their dreams comes true.
Ramu, Mohit and shankers characters were enacted by Rishav Salgotra, Tarun Sharma and Nikhil Singh respectively. Make-up by Siddharth, Costumes by Sunita K. Thakur and the over all production managed by Abhishek. Mohan Lal Gupta General Secretary of RTGS thanked the audience who inspite of scorching heat spared their valuable time to watch todays production.
