MUZAFFARABAD: A peace organisation in Pakistan administrated Kashmir has hailed the opening up of Kartarpur corridor and desired that the step would help erase hostility between India and Pakistan. In an announcement issued here on Tuesday, Press for Peace (PFP) has appreciated recent peace developments between two neighbour countries and urged India and Pakistan to open more routes in disputed state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Statement demanded that Cross LoC Trade and Travel procedures should be made people-friendly to bring genuine benefits for traders and public.

‘Both countries should open Kargil- Skardu road, Turtuk-Khaplu roads and other historical routes between divided regions of Kashmir to revive cultural and economical connections’, it further said. PFP hoped that the opening of additional routes between both separated regions of Kashmir could bring prosperity and development in remote areas.
