JAMMU: Rajinder Sharma (Pappu Shah), Chairman Municipal committee Sunderbani, donated Rs. 1.51 lakhs in PM CARES Fund and handed over the Bank Cheque for the same to Ravinder Raina, President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory.
Ravinder Raina, was also accompanied by BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, BJP General Secretary Vibodh Gupta(MLC), Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta at the time of donation, at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Professor PL Kaul, Senior BJP leader also handed over the Bank Cheque worth Rs. 25,000 and senior BJP leader Sheela Kaul handed over the Bank Cheque worth Rs. 2,000 for donation to the PM CARES Fund. Anup Kotwal and Rajinder Raina were also present on the occasion.
Ravinder Raina, appreciated the noble gesture shown by the BJP leaders and said that we need regular effort by the party leaders and all the capable persons of the society in meeting out the needs of the needy. He said that their contribution will strengthen the effort of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to combat the ill effects of corona Pandemic. He also asked them to encourage others to follow the same way.
Donors said, that they feel this as their duty in the service of the Nation, Society and the mankind. They said that they will contribute further in the coming time as well.
