He commended the J&K Ex-Servicemen League and the people of Bagoona for their dedication in honoring Brigadier Singh’s legacy annually. “The valor and supreme sacrifice of Brigadier Rajinder Singh must be highlighted to inspire future generations,” Sharma stated. He appealed to the youth to strive diligently, avoid social evils, and engage in proactive public participation for the prosperity of society and the nation.
Responding to the demands presented by the President of J&KESL, DC assured that every possible step would be taken to fulfill their requirements. The event featured a cultural program presented by the Slathia brothers and local school children. The Deputy Commissioner lauded the students for their performances and encouraged them to actively participate in co-curricular activities while remembering the nation's heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country’s honor and dignity.
