JAMMU: In a visit that blended encouragement with inspiration, Shri Anand Jain, IPS, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Jammu Zone, spent time today at the University of Jammu, engaging with young athletes and faculty at the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education.
The ADGP was warmly received by Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, along with faculty members and staff. During his visit, Shri Jain toured the university's sports infrastructure, interacted with players and coaches, and observed training sessions across various disciplines—taking a keen interest in the dedication and energy displayed by the student-athletes.
Addressing the students, ADGP Jain emphasized that fitness, discipline, and the spirit of sportsmanship are essential not just for sports but for life. He praised the University for cultivating a balanced environment where academics and athletics complement each other, and where young people are encouraged to grow holistically.
