JAMMU: Central university of Jammu under the esteemed patronage of Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, CUJ has successfully organized a high-end CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training session in collaboration with Medanta Hospital, Gurugram. The training, held recently at the university, was designed for both students and security guards, aiming to equip them with essential life-saving skills.
The training session saw the participation of 70 individuals who received comprehensive CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) instruction. The session was expertly conducted by July Rohan Sharma, Clinical Instructor at Medanta, and Sandeep Singh Jamwal, Assistant Marketing Manager, Medanta. Notable members of the Medanta team, including Raj Kumar and Ashutosh Sharma, were also present to support and facilitate the training.
Dr. Harpreet Singh, Senior Medical Officer at CUJ, expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the Medanta team, led by Sudanshu Sharma, Head of Marketing at Medanta. Dr. Singh commended their dedication to conducting such training programs and other capacity-building exercises, which play a crucial role in enhancing the safety and preparedness of the university community.
