JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, under the leadership of its President Sat Sharma (CA), held an organizational meeting at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. The meeting was convened to assess the progress of party programmes and to strengthen grassroots-level connect across the Jammu, Akhnoor, and Jammu Border organizational districts.

Prominent leaders present included former Deputy Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation Baldev Singh Billawaria, District Presidents Adv. Rajesh Gupta (Jammu), Rinku Choudhary (Jammu Border), Kuldeep Sharma (Akhnoor), along with senior leaders Rajeev Charak, Parduman Singh, Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra, Sanjay Kumar Baru, and others.

During his address, Sat Sharma took comprehensive ground feedback on ongoing party initiatives and instructed the cadre to enhance their engagement with the public through meaningful outreach. Emphasizing the importance of inclusive development, he urged BJP workers to proactively assist the needy, marginalized, and underprivileged segments in availing benefits from the welfare schemes launched by the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre.

He highlighted youth and women empowerment as two of the party’s top organizational and social priorities. “Our programmes must actively promote the participation of youth and women in political, social, and economic spheres. We are committed to building a self-reliant generation and a secure, dignified space for women,” Sat Sharma said.

The BJP President reiterated that the party stands firm against any discriminatory or biased policy attempts by the NC-led government in the Union Territory. He made it clear that BJP will vocally resist and legally counter any effort aimed at unfairly granting benefits to one community over others, undermining the principles of equality and justice.

Sat Sharma underlined that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has laid a solid foundation of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas, ensuring equitable development in every region of Jammu & Kashmir. “The BJP cadre must take this message to every household that under PM Modi’s leadership, no region, no community, and no individual will be left behind,” he asserted.
