HANDWARA: Police in Handwara today organized a warm and dignified farewell ceremony in honor of Sub-Inspector (SI) Bashir Ahmad, who retired from active service after a long and commendable career in the J&K Police. The event was held at the District Police Lines (DPL), Handwara, and was graced by the presence of Additional Superintendent of Police Handwara Shri Fayaz Ahmad Shah-JKPS, DySP DAR Handwara, DySP PC Handwara, along with other senior officers, police colleagues, and staff members.
Speaking on the occasion, Addl SP Handwara acknowledged the valuable contributions of SI Bashir Ahmad throughout his service, highlighting his unwavering dedication, professional integrity, and role in strengthening the policing system at the grassroots level. He praised the officer’s commitment to duty and the respect he earned from peers and the public alike.
