UDHAMPUR: District Administration Udhampur, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai, today organized an awareness-cum-service delivery programme at Panchayat Sundla in Block Khoon as part of the ongoing Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan. The event witnessed overwhelming participation from the local tribal community and was graced by Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Dr. Ashwini Hansa as the chief guest.
A host of citizen-centric services were made available at the doorstep of beneficiaries during the programme. These included Aadhaar enrolment and updation drives, Ayushman Bharat Card registration, issuance of Caste certificate and facilitation of other welfare schemes aimed at ensuring inclusive development of tribal populations.
A Gram Sabha was also convened during the program which served as a platform for community members to raise public grievances and developmental concerns. Officials from various departments interacted with the participants and assured time-bound redressal of genuine issues raised during the Sabha.
