• Proposes enhanced In-Patient Services for Treatment, Rehabilitation

POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Vikas Kundal today visited the District Drug De-addiction Centre and evaluated the patient care facilities. He proposed the establishment of In-Patient Department (IPD) services aimed at enhancing the treatment and rehabilitation of addiction patients.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the urgent need for comprehensive care and support for individuals battling addiction. He noted that the introduction of IPD services would provide patients with a structured environment conducive to recovery, allowing for more intensive treatment options.

The Deputy Commissioner reiterated the district administration’s commitment to improving the existing facilities at the centre, ensuring that it is well-equipped to meet the growing needs of the community.
