AWANTIPORA: The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) organized a two-day health screening and awareness camp in collaboration with the University Health Centre. Conducted under the IUST-PURSE project, the initiative aimed to raise awareness about non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and assess their prevalence among university employees, students, and scholars.
The camp witnessed participation from faculty, non-teaching staff, security personnel, scholars, and students. Over two days, participants were screened, blood samples were collected, and health education on the prevention and management of NCDs was provided. This initiative highlights IUST’s commitment to fostering health awareness and advancing preventive healthcare through collaborative efforts.
