KATRA: Ms. Azhar Jan D/o Mr. Sheikh Niyaz Ahmad and Mrs. Muneera Akhtar has been declared qualified for the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the School of Economics, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra, J&K.
Her research topic was “Health Care Expenditure, Economic Growth and Specific SDG Targets: An Analysis inSouth Asian Context”, completed under the supervision of Dr. Meenakshi Gupta, AssociateProfessor, School of Economics, SMVDU.
Ms. Azhar Jan has published her work in variousreputed ABDC and SSCI journals. She has also presented papers at national and internationalconferences. Prof. (Dr.) Pragati Kumar (Vice‑Chancellor, SMVDU), A.K.
