KISHTWAR: The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Kishtwar has rolled out three major training programmes across remote educational zones, aimed at strengthening teacher capacity at the grassroots level. Inaugurated virtually by Principal, Tirath Lal and senior academic officers, the initiative ensures teachers in far-flung areas like Padder and Bunjwah receive direct academic support without travel hurdles.
At GHSS Padder, a five-day workshop on HPC development and question bank preparation is underway, coordinated by Novel Kishore. HSS Sarthal hosts a five-day orientation on mathematics content enrichment and pedagogy under Ramesh Kumar, while HSS Binoon conducts training on computer education and ICT integration led by Shabir Hussain.
Principal, Tirath Lal praised the decentralised approach, noting its role in improving foundational learning. He also commended the dedicated coordinators and academic officers for ensuring smooth execution. A special lecture was delivered at GHSS Sarthal by the Zonal Education Officer.
