KULGAM: Up-scaling its activities to stop or prevent any pilferage or misuse of Scheduled drugs and to guard their proper sale purchase through computerized billing system, around 15 medical establishments including Jan Aushidi Kendras were inspected today and 3 medical shops were closed down on spot by team of Drug Control Authorities for various violations.

The operation of the shops that were closed down today included Pharma Plus, New bhat medical store and Adil medicate operational near Dist. Hospital Kulgam The chemists of the area were again instructed to make CBS fully functional and issue cash memos or digital invoices to the customers.

Schedule H and H1 registers were checked on available softwares and random bills were demanded on spot to check their consonance with the physical stocks. 4 Show-cause notices were also issued to the violators.
