AKHNOOR: In its ongoing mission to uplift underserved communities, Synergetic Green Warriors Foundation (SGWF), in collaboration with the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), organized a comprehensive medical camp at Gandharwan village, Akhnoor. This initiative aimed to address the healthcare needs of NHAI laborers and the local community by providing free medical screenings, consultations, and essential medicines.
The camp was supervised by Block Medical Officer Dr. Salim and featured the expertise of Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Vikrant and Dr. Vinay Vikas Sharma. A dedicated team of paramedical staff and professionals from Ayush actively participated, offering holistic healthcare solutions. Over 200 NHAI laborers underwent medical check-ups, focusing on general health, musculoskeletal conditions, and occupational hazards. In addition, 100 villagers availed themselves of the services, including diagnostics for chronic conditions, minor ailments, and preventive care.
The camp featured a variety of medical services: Blood pressure, blood sugar levels, and general fitness checks. Orthopedic advice for laborers experiencing joint and back pain due to strenuous work. Free distribution of essential medicines for common ailments, including fever, infections, and chronic diseases.Promotion of natural and herbal remedies for lifestyle-related disorders.Educational sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive healthcare.
Dr. Sonia Verma, Director/CEO of SGWF, and Er. Rohiet Sharma, General Secretary SGWF, played key roles in organizing and managing the camp. Their efforts ensured that the event was well-coordinated and reached its maximum potential in serving the community.
