BANDIPORA: The District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) meeting for the Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP) was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, here. The committee approved a total of 529 cases across various departments. Out of the approved cases, 321 belong to agriculture, 100 to horticulture, 34 to animal husbandry, sericulture 17, and 57 to the sheep husbandry sector.
During the meeting, the DC underscored the vital role of these initiatives in creating employment opportunities for youth. He called on all concerned departments to extend their full support to unemployed individuals pursuing opportunities in agriculture and related sectors. He also stressed the need to achieve the established targets within the specified timeframe to guarantee timely and efficient implementation. The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, and other officials from the concerned departments.
