SRINAGAR: The Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) is advocating for the removal of entry fees at Srinagar Airport, citing inconvenience and frustration for commuters. Currently, both private and commercial vehicles are charged ₹40, regardless of whether they park or simply drop off travelers.
DPAP Senior Leader Peer Bilal has described the entry fee as a "forced tax" that negatively impacts locals and tourists alike. The party is urging the authorities to reconsider the entry fees and address the concerns of the local community.
Peer Bilal has called on the LG Administration to urgently look into this matter. We request the Director of Srinagar International Airport to reconsider these unjustified fees and address the concerns of the local community.
