JAMMU: International Montessori PreSchool, elementary wing of JKMS hosted "Tiny Twirls and Dandiya Swirls," a captivating Navratri celebration for mother-daughter duos. This festive event aimed to strengthen bonds of love and honor our traditions.
The event commenced with Navdevi Pooja, a reverent ceremony honoring Goddess Durga's nine forms, accompanied by soulful devotional songs. The beautifully decorated venue, and vibrant Garba music created an electrifying atmosphere. Students and their lovely mothers clad in traditional attires and armed with Dandiya sticks, danced with joy, rejuvenating their spirits. The Garba music and exquisite decorations made the event unforgettable.
The highlight of the event was the energetic Dandiya Dhamaal session, where mothers, daughters and teachers joined in the colorful dances. Mr. Apurv Gupta, Dean of Academics, and Ms. Ojsevy ,Ms Sonia Kapoor ,coordinator elementary wing esteemed guests, attended the event and applauded the combined effort of students and teachers for presenting a wonderful show. Mr Apurv in his address stated that "Navratri symbolizes the triumph of good over evil.This celebration reinforces values of family, tradition, and cultural heritage and and create lifelong memories.
