SRINAGAR: NCC cadets of Amar Singh College, Srinagar SUO Musaib Hassan Bhat and JUO Aqib Javaid have brought immense pride to the institution and the Union Territory by excelling at the Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2025 held at DG NCC, New Delhi. The cadets were also selected for the NCC marching contingent at the prestigious Kartavya Path, a remarkable achievement showcasing their discipline, dedication, and patriotism.
The RDC 2025 featured 148 cadets from all 17 NCC Directorates across India, with participants selected through a rigorous training and screening process. Representing Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh NCC Directorate, both cadets demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment, standing out at the national-level event.
JUO Aqib Javaid was honored with a Letter of Appreciation from the Additional Director General (ADG) NCC of JK&L Directorate for his outstanding performance and dedication. His recognition is a testament to the high standards of training imparted by the NCC unit of Amar Singh College.
Adding to the college’s glory, SUO Musaib Hassan Bhat received an Appreciation Letter from the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, recognizing his remarkable contributions during the RDC 2025. His achievement underscores the talent and potential of youth from the region on national platforms.
During the Republic Day Camp, the cadets underwent intensive training, drill performances, and leadership activities, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to NCC. Their success not only highlights their personal dedication but also serves as an inspiration for future NCC cadets of the region.
