POONCH: On the direction of Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) Poonch carried out an extensive enforcement drive along the Jammu-Poonch National Highway and Nangali Sahib area. The drive was conducted under the supervision of MVD Inspector Imran Choudhary. During the drive, a total of 80 vehicles were thoroughly inspected. Out of these, 13 were issued challans for various violations of the Motor Vehicle Act and 6 vehicles were seized on the spot.

The expected revenue generated through e-challans issued during the drive stands at Rs. 55,000. The enforcement action is part of a continued effort by the MVD Poonch to ensure adherence to traffic laws and promote a culture of responsible driving across the district. The department remains committed to reducing traffic violations and enhancing public safety on the roads.
