NEW DELHI: Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Er. Gulam Ali Khatana praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s steadfast dedication to developing world-class infrastructure in India. Khatana highlighted the significant impact these projects will have on advancing the nation’s development trajectory.
“In a move set to significantly bolster India’s infrastructure, the government has approved eight National High-Speed Road Corridor Projects. Spanning 936 kilometers at a cost of Rs. 50,655 Crore, these projects aim to revolutionize the country’s transportation network,” said Rajya Sabha MP Er. Gulam Ali Khatana.
Khatana praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dedication to developing world-class infrastructure in India. “Under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s visionary leadership, our country’s development has increased manifold,” he stated. “In the last decade, we’ve witnessed the breaking of all barriers and the beginning of a new chapter in India’s progress, firmly setting us on the path to becoming a developed nation.”
The MP highlighted the transformative potential of these projects, explaining that they are expected to reduce congestion on existing highways and improve goods transportation efficiency. “By providing faster and more direct routes between key economic centers, these projects will slash travel times and operational costs for businesses across various sectors,” Khatana said.
He emphasized that this infrastructure push aligns with the Modi government’s broader vision of enhancing India’s global competitiveness. “By improving connectivity and reducing logistical bottlenecks, these high-speed corridors are expected to attract more foreign investment and support the growth of domestic industries,” the MP added.
Khatana noted that this approval continues the Modi government’s focus on infrastructure development, a cornerstone of its economic policy since 2014. “The administration has consistently emphasized the importance of robust infrastructure in driving economic growth, job creation, and improving the overall quality of life for Indian citizens,” he said.
The BJP leader expressed confidence in India’s trajectory under Modi’s leadership. “As India continues its journey towards becoming a global economic powerhouse, initiatives like the National High-Speed Road Corridor Projects underscore the government's commitment to creating the necessary infrastructure to support this ambition,” Khatana stated.
