SRINAGAR: On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, the Private Schools Association (PSA) Jammu & Kashmir extended warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to the people of Jammu & Kashmir and the entire Muslim Ummah, praying that the blessed festival brings peace, prosperity, harmony and happiness to every household.
The joint statement was issued by National Joint Secretary NISA & Chief Patron PSA Dr. G.N Var, President Bilal Ahmad Bhat, Senior Vice President & Chief Spokesperson Manzoor Ahmad Rather, Vice President Ghulam Hassan Rather, General Secretary (Organization) Mohammad Syed Wani, Vice President Jammu Province Shafiqul Islam Wani, Treasurer Hilal Ahmad Khan, Publicity Secretary Dr. Waseem Siddique, Joint Secretary Dr. Yasir Ramzan, Director Media & Communications Dr. Owais Mattoo, along with all district presidents and zonal presidents across Jammu & Kashmir.
The Private Schools Association said that Eid-ul-Adha symbolizes the timeless values of sacrifice, compassion, patience, humanity and care for others. The Association urged people to promote love, unity, brotherhood and mutual respect in society, especially during challenging times.
At the same time, the Association expressed deep grief and outrage over the horrific rape and murder of a minor girl student in Budgam, strongly condemning the barbaric and inhuman act. PSA termed the incident as deeply disturbing and a grave assault on humanity and the dignity of children.
The Association demanded strict, swift and exemplary punishment for all those involved in the brutal crime and urged the administration to ensure a transparent, fast-track investigation so that justice is delivered without delay.
Dr. G.N Var, National Joint Secretary NISA & Chief Patron PSA said "We strongly condemn the brutal murder of the innocent Budgam student and demand strict and exemplary punishment for all those involved in this heinous crime. Such barbaric acts against children are deeply painful and unacceptable in any civilized society. The administration must ensure a transparent and time-bound investigation so that justice is delivered without delay. At the same time, On the sacred occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, we pray for peace, unity, prosperity and well-being for every family across Jammu & Kashmir. May this blessed Eid bring harmony, compassion, happiness and countless blessings to every home. Eid Mubarak to all.”
PSA President Bilal Ahmad Bhat said “Eid teaches us humanity, compassion and protection of innocent lives. The horrific crime against the minor girl in Budgam has shocked the entire society and justice must be ensured without delay. Such barbaric acts against innocent children are unacceptable and must be dealt with sternly under the law. On this blessed occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, we pray for peace, unity, safety and prosperity across Jammu & Kashmir. May Allah bless every family with happiness and harmony. Eid Mubarak to all.”
