JAMMU: Ek Bharat–Shreshtha Bharat is a vision of unity in diversity, strengthening the bond of brotherhood, culture, and national integration among all Indians, said MLA Ch. Vikram Randhawa while receiving a copy of the book titled “Ek Bharat–Shreshtha Bharat” from Nanaji Deshmukh Library Incharge Prof. (Dr.) Kul Bhushan Mohtra in the presence of senior leader Virenderjeet Singh. 

The book has been jointly authored by Jagannath Kunjbihari and Prof. (Dr.) Kul Bhushan Mohtra and highlights Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Ekatmata Movement and the importance of national integration.

Ch. Vikram Randhawa, on receiving the book, appreciated the efforts of the authors for bringing out a meaningful publication dedicated to the idea of a united and culturally strong India. He said that the concept of Ek Bharat–Shreshtha Bharat reflects the true spirit of the nation where people belonging to different languages, traditions, faiths, and regions remain connected through the common thread of nationalism and mutual respect.

Randhawa said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently emphasized unity and cultural exchange among states to strengthen the foundation of the country. He added that such literary works help in spreading awareness among the younger generation about India’s glorious heritage, diversity, and constitutional values. He said the message of unity and harmony is more relevant in the present times and should reach every section of society.

He further remarked that books play a vital role in shaping thoughts and inspiring citizens towards nation-building. He appreciated the role of libraries and educational institutions in promoting reading culture and constructive thinking among youth.

Prof. (Dr.) Kul Bhushan Mohtra shared that the book is an attempt to document and explain the significance of the Ek Bharat–Shreshtha Bharat initiative launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said the publication highlights various aspects of cultural integration, social harmony, and national consciousness. He expressed hope that readers, especially students and young minds, would draw inspiration from the book and contribute towards strengthening national unity and social cohesion. Senior leader Virenderjeet Singh also appreciated the initiative and congratulated the authors for their valuable contribution to society through literature.
