GANDOH: A meeting to finalize the preparations and arrangements for the Eid-ul-Azha 2026 festival was convened today at Sub-Divisional Headquarters Gandoh under the chairmanship of SDM Arun Kumar Budyal.
The meeting was attended by officers from the line departments. The SDM held a comprehensive review of arrangements related to essential services and public facilities to facilitate convenience for the people during the auspicious occasion.
Directions were issued for ensuring adequate availability of drinking water, uninterrupted power supply, sanitation measures, healthcare facilities, traffic regulation and overall public convenience.
The SDM exhorted officers to take measures for prompt grievances redressal and maintain readiness to address any emergent issues to facilitate celebration of Eid-ul-Azha in a peaceful and hassle-free atmosphere.
