BARAMULLA: Continuing its sustained efforts against drug menace under the ongoing “Nasha Mukt Abhiyan”, J&K Police carried out a destruction drive against wild cannabis cultivation in the jurisdiction of Police Post Palhalan.
During the drive, Police Post Palhalan along with members of the civil society destroyed wild cannabis spread over approximately 01 Kanal of state land at Saderbal Palhalan. The cannabis plants were destroyed on the spot to prevent their misuse for narcotic purposes.
J&K Police remains committed towards eradicating the drug menace from society and appeals to the general public to cooperate with police and share information regarding cultivation, sale or consumption of narcotic substances in their areas.
