AWANTIPORA: Dr. Tariq Ahmad Ganaie, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Food Technology, Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), has been inducted as a Member of the Advisory Committee for the “Adaptation of National Guidelines on Responsible Business Conduct (NGRBC) for the Food and Beverage Sector” constituted by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.

The committee has been constituted to develop sector-specific recommendations for promoting responsible, sustainable, and ethical business practices in the Food and Beverage sector. Dr. Ganaie’s inclusion in the national-level advisory body reflects the growing academic and research recognition of IUST in the areas of food technology, sustainability, and policy-oriented research. He is also a member of two Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) National Panels related to food standards and quality systems.
