RAMBAN: District Administration Ramban, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan, organised Jan Sunwai (Public Grievance Redressal Camps) at Upper Dedha of Panchayat Dedha and village Narthyal of Panchayat Balihote-B as part of the “Jan Bhagidaari – Sabse Door Sabse Pehle Abhiyan” under PM JANMAN and DA-JGUA campaign.
At Upper Dedha, officers and officials facilitated on-the-spot delivery of public services besides spreading awareness regarding the welfare and developmental schemes of the Government. During the proceedings, local residents projected several issues and developmental demands related to drinking water supply, electricity, road connectivity, healthcare, education and other basic amenities. The grievances and representations submitted by the public were patiently heard by the concerned officers and duly registered for timely and systematic redressal.
Several grievances were resolved on the spot through coordinated efforts of the departments concerned, while clear directions along with timelines were issued for disposal of the remaining issues. The camp served as an effective platform for strengthening public outreach and ensuring responsive governance at the grassroots level.
Meanwhile, a similar outreach camp was organised at Narthyal of Panchayat Balihote-B, focusing on on-the-spot facilitation of services to the local tribal population under PM-JANMAN and DA-JGUA initiatives. Officers from government departments interacted with the locals, noted their grievances and initiated necessary action for redressal of issues raised by them.
The residents at both locations appreciated the District Administration for organising the outreach camps in far-flung areas and ensuring doorstep delivery of government services and welfare schemes. They expressed hope that the grievances requiring further intervention would be taken up with the higher authorities for early resolution.
