JAMMU: In a major initiative aimed at strengthening educational and healthcare services for society, All Jammu and Kashmir Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha, Krishna Nagar, Jammu, has announced the launch of free charitable OPD services at the Gurudwara Complex from June 1, 2026. The decision was taken by the executive body of the Sabha under the leadership of Er. R.C. Bhasin during a press briefing held here today.
As per the announcement, the OPD services will be available daily from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, where specialist doctors from different medical fields will provide free consultation services on a rotational basis for the benefit of the general public. The Sabha has appealed to people to avail themselves of these healthcare facilities for various medical issues.
The weekly schedule of specialists includes Dr. Rajinder Jangral (Physician) on Monday, Prof. Dr. Sanjay Bhasin (Surgery) on Tuesday, Dr. Bias Dev (Orthopedic) on Wednesday, Dr. Sanjay Kai (Ophthalmologist) on Thursday, Dr. Samiksha Bhagat (ENT Specialist) on Friday, Dr. Anuradha (Gynaecologist) on Saturday, and Dr. Ravi Bharti (Pediatrician) along with Dr. Anupama Babouria (Gynaecologist) on Sunday.
The press briefing was attended by members of the executive committee including Tarsem Loch, Prof. G.L. Thapa, Prof. C.L. Shivgotra, Er. Joginder Pal, Surjeet Singh Heer, Tara Chand, Kuldeep Thapa and others. The Sabha also informed that free online classes, computer classes and library services will soon be started as the related work is in its final stage.
