JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul along with Former Minister and former local MLA from Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) addressed public meeting at Ward no. 41 in Talab Tilllo area falling under Jammu West Assembly Constituency in a programme organized by State Secretary & local JMC Councillor from Ward No. 41 Sanjay Baru.
BJP State Vice-President Harinder Gupta, State Secretary & District Prabhari Praduman Singh, State Co-Treasurer Prem Gupta, District President Munish Khajuria, District General Secretary (Org.) Mohan Singh Rana, former District President Ayodhya Gupta, Parneesh Mahajan, JMC Chairman Jeet Angral, BJYM State Vice-President Karan Sharma, Mandal Presidents Raveesh Mengi and Keshav Chopra were among the prominent BJP leaders present during the meetings.
Ashok Kaul, while addressing the public meeting, said that the Congress, Communists and certain other political parties are manipulating the truth of CAA and putting doctored facts before the masses to create flutters among the young minds. This is a vicious pattern followed by these political parties to gain mileage for the power corridor. Congress has lost its shine over the decades now forcing the hardcore Congress men to turn their faces away from the centurion party and their close allies Communists, whose ideology is presently being rejected all over the world have come to an unholy alliance and this has done enough damage to our Nation, he added.
Sat Sharma, said that the Opposition parties led by Congress and its allies are trying to spread falsehood about the Union government’s humanitarian gesture towards persecuted minorities in the neighbouring countries. And this is due to their wicked mindset lust for power as they have hollow principles and corrupted ideology. He alleged that the parties opposing the CAA were not aware of the facts listed out in the Act. They do not even make attempts to know these facts and instead they are trying to mislead people as it suits them to gain coverspace.
Sanjay Kumar Baru, said that the Modi government remained focused on the development works in the past years and has shown the guts to take historic decision during its tenure and this phenomenal change in the government working has given shivers to the opposition parties.
