JAMMU: Central Bureau of Communication Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and it’s field offices across the UT today organized various activities under Swachta Hi Seva. Under this campaign, CBC Udhampur organised one day Integrated Outreach and Communication Programme on Swachta Hi Seva at Government Higher Secondary School, Sewna Udhampur, CBC Kathua at Government Higher Secondary School, Bhudi, Kathua, CBC Anantnag at Government Girls Model Higher Secondary School, Kulgam, Kashmir CBC Srinagar at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Rawalpora, Srinagar, Kashmir.
The aim of these programmes is to intensify the awareness campaign on the importance of Swach Bharat Mission, which aims to make India Open Defecation free and make India Green and Clean. During the day long programmes organized by CBC field offices, various activities were organised including Seminars, Expert Lecturers on Swachta Hi Seva & Shramdaan Activity. Rallies of students & NCC Cadets displaying play cards on Swachta were also organised by the field offices that passed through different areas spreading awareness among the masses.
