- Rs 83, 25,600 awarded as compensation
PULWAMA: A Lok Adalat was held in the District Court Complex Pulwama, which was presided over by Principal District and Sessions Judge Pulwama. On this occasion Additional Deputy Commissioner Pulwama and Tehsildar Pulwama were also present in the Lok Adalat. An Amount of Rs: 83, 25,600/= were awarded in favour of the floods victims by the Lok Adalat. 120 cases of Flood Victims of September 2014 of villages Naina, Ladremard, Senzan, Litter, Amurgund, Dangerpora, Lassipora, Lhandaypora, Sambora, Gravegund, Gulzarpora and other villages were taken up in the Lok Adalat whose houses were damaged. The masses of the area in large number participated in the Lok Adalat and appreciated the fast settlement of their grievances and payment of compensation in their favour.
