JAMMU: Remembering Late Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay and his services to the Nation on his death anniversary, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu and Kashmir today organized "Samarpan Diwas" programmes on Mandal level across Jammu & Kashmir, which were attended by senior party leaders.
Former Dy. Chief minister & Parliamentary Cluster Incharge Dr. Nirmal Singh, former Dy. Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, BJP Vice-President Sham Choudhary, General Secretary Vibodh Gupta, former MLCs S. Charanjit Singh Khalsa & Vikram Randhawa, Chief Spokesperson Sunil Sethi, District President Rekha Mahajan, participated in a programme on “Samarpan Diwas” organized under the supervision of Abhiyaan Incharge & Additional Treasurer Prem Gupta at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina who paid tributes to Pt. ji in Kulgam, termed Pt. Deen Dayal as a distinguished Indian philosopher and a devoted patriot. He said that the ideals and immense in-depth knowledge, sensitivity to public issues of Pt. Deen Dayal ji paved way for a new vision for the development and future of nation. He said that identifying flaws in the existing political approaches at that time, he proposed Integral Humanism Theory to achieve harmony between extremes and a broader perspective, which has guided every BJP worker to work selflessly for the welfare of society.
"Modi government has ensured the welfare of every neglected and the oppressed person following the ideals of Pt Deen Dayal Upadhayay ji. Every BJP activist must imbibe their teachings to understand the working of organization for the nation and society", said Ravinder Raina.
Ashok Koul, while paying floral tributes to Pandit Deen Dayal at Srinagar, said that Samarpan Diwas is observed on Feb 11 to mark the death anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, a leader and man beyond words and achievements. On this day, the memory of the great leader is remembered not just by his followers but millions of people who believe in his ideologies. He spoke in detail on the life and values of Pandit ji. He said that the vision of Pandit ji was very clear that the true rise of India could only be achieved through “Integral Humanism” and “Antyodaya”. He said that Pandit ji was a strong advocate of nationalism, integral humanism having core of “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah”, Antyodaya (benefit to the last person standing in the row), and great economic policy.
Dr. Nirmal Singh, while paying floral tributes to Pandit Deen Dayal at party headquarter, termed him as one of the biggest thinkers of present times, whose teachings will ultimately guide the whole world for the centuries to come.
Kavinder Gupta, while paying floral tributes to Pandit Deen Dayal at party headquarter, said that he has been the source of ideological guidance and moral inspiration for the BJP since its inception. All the senior BJP leaders participated in their respective Mandal “Samarpan Diwas” programmes.
