BUDGAM: Electoral Literacy Club of Government Degree College (GDC) Khansahib conducted a series of SVEEP related activities in the college. Apart from administering voter pledges to the students they were sensitized about the significance of voting for a healthy democracy.
The participants were oriented towards various online services available on the official website of Chief Electoral Officer of JK UT including the procedure for online voter registration. A documentary on the ‘Use of Electronic Voting Machines’ (EVMs) was screened for the students. Principal of the college Dr. Nargis Bano appreciated the role of ELC members for organizing these activities.
