SAMBA: Nations Development Association (NDA), in collaboration with MyBharat-NYK Jammu and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, successfully organized a two-day Cluster of Block Level Sports Meet at Balouri Ground, Samba. The event, held on February 16-17, witnessed enthusiastic participation from youth across Samba District.
The sports meet was a significant initiative to encourage youth involvement in physical activities and foster community spirit. Various competitions were held across multiple sporting categories, with participants showcasing their athletic talent and sportsmanship. The event provided a platform for young athletes to demonstrate their skills and compete in a healthy and supportive environment.
The meet was conducted under the supervision of the Chief Functionary of the Nations Development Association (NDA), Sushil Singh Charak, whose leadership and guidance played a crucial role in the success of the event. He expressed his gratitude towards all the organizers, participants, and the local community for their support.
Narinder Singh Jamwal, President of Bainglar, Former Panches Gopal Singh, Shamsher Singh, Kuldeep Singh Lambardar, and Rajinder Singh, were present during the event to encourage the participants and commend their efforts.
The event not only highlighted the importance of sports but also aimed at promoting youth engagement and health, in line with the Government of Indiaâs vision of a fitter, more active youth population. The Nations Development Association (NDA) plans to continue organizing such events, further promoting sports at the grassroots level and creating opportunities for youth across the region.
