DODA: World AIDS Prevention Day 2025 was observed with commitment and awareness oriented activities across the Medical Blocks of District Doda, here today. Awareness programmes were organised at different health facilities, where health staff actively sensitised the public about the importance of World AIDS Day, the need to prevent HIV/AIDS and the significance of early testing, treatment and social support.
The deliberations focused on reducing stigma, promoting healthy practices and encouraging community participation in the global fight against HIV/AIDS. The awareness events were held under the guidance of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tanveer Ahmed Rather and the supervision of the Block Medical Officers.
