BANDIPORA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri on Wednesday conducted an on-site inspection of the under-construction Arin-Balhama-Palkar road, a vital connectivity aimed at linking the unconnected area of Palkar with Balhama Arin. During the inspection, the DC was apprised by officials that the road is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 5.70 lakh under MGNREGA. The road is expected to enhance connectivity and facilitate better access to essential services for the residents of the area.
Interacting with the locals, Qadri emphasized the administration's dedication to address public grievances and fulfill genuine public demands. He said, the construction of the Arin-Balhama-Palkar road was a long-pending demand of locals and this road will significantly improve connectivity and enhance the socio-economic development of the area.
The DC said that the District Administration is committed in its mission to ensure holistic development and improve infrastructure across the district. The DC was accompanied by DDC Arin Ghulam Mohiudin, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Planning Officer, Tehsildar Bandipora, Block Development Officer Arin and other concerned.
