DODA: The Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh conducted an extensive visit to Bhalla and Pranoo areas to inspect local markets, review public grievances, and assess the ongoing infrastructure projects. During his visit, the DC inspected the local market to assess compliance with essential regulations such as: Quality control of goods; Price monitoring to prevent overcharging and Sanitation standards to maintain hygiene and cleanliness in public spaces.
The DC also inspected the land identified for the Tehsil Office at Bhalla, evaluating its suitability for construction. He directed officials to expedite the administrative and logistical processes for its operationalization.
At Pranoo market, the DC interacted with shopkeepers, addressing their grievances related to market infrastructure, road connectivity, and the availability of basic amenities. He assured them of immediate steps to resolve key concerns and improve the marketâs overall functionality. The DC emphasized the importance of ensuring consumer rights, supporting local businesses, and maintaining transparency in administrative processes.
