RAMGARH : Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Ramgarh, alongside DDC Ramgarh Anita Choudhary, launched several key development projects aimed at improving infrastructure and promoting entrepreneurship in the region.
In a significant move to enhance local infrastructure, Dr. Manyal and Anita Choudhary inaugurated the macadamization of the road from Chamliyal to Narayanpur, covering a stretch of 700 meters at an estimated cost of Rs 10.00 lakh. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to improve connectivity in the area and benefit local residents.
Dr. Manyal also visited the Cutting and Tailoring Udyami Training Programme in Village Daini, Block Samba, conducted by SBI RSETI Samba. The 30-day cutting and tailoring training program aims to empower local women by providing them with valuable skills and creating opportunities for self-employment. During his visit, Dr. Manyal interacted with the participants, praising their dedication to learning new skills and emphasizing the importance of such programs in boosting the local economy and promoting sustainable livelihoods.
Additionally, Dr. Manyal, along with DDC Samba Romesh Chander, inaugurated the construction of lane drains at Diani Pyt, including work at the residence of Mani Ram. The estimated cost of these projects is Rs 3.30 lakh. These efforts are expected to improve drainage systems and enhance the overall living conditions for residents in the area.
Dr. Manyal also laid the foundation for the construction of a Teen Shed at Sargal Pyt Diani, with an estimated cost of Rs 2.0 lakh. He also launched the construction of a lane/nallah at Sargal, estimated to cost Rs 2.0 lakh, and a boundary wall at the CFC in Diani Pyt. The estimated cost for the boundary wall project is Rs 2.90 lakh.
As part of his visit, Dr. Manyal handed over sports materials to the youth of Village Diani, Samba, aiming to encourage physical activities and sports development in the region. These initiatives reflect the commitment of local leadership to empowering communities through infrastructure development, vocational training, and economic opportunities.
Present on the occasion were Mohinder Paul Bika, Subash Verma, Binder Singh, Rinku Choudhary, and staff from the Department of Rural Development, including J.E. Krishan Gupta, Pyt. Sect. Surinder Dubey, Sunil Manyal, Rajesh Manyal, Gulshan Manyal, and Sachin Lalotra.
