SRINAGAR: The Directorate of Economics & Statistics, organised a two day training programme was conducted by J&K at the Directorate in SDA Colony, Bemina. The programme, which concluded here today, was aimed to train the Master Trainers for conducting the baseline Enumeration/Survey for implementation of Mission Yuva of Labour & Employment Department.
Regional Director General, E&S Kashmir, Athar Hussain Qadri, chaired the programme and highlighted the importance of the survey. He stated that the survey aims to identify around 1.37 lakh youth for turning them into successful entrepreneurs. He stated that, for this purpose, the data on potential entrepreneurs, existing entrepreneurs and unregistered existing entrepreneurs across Jammu & Kashmir covering the Rural and Urban areas is to be captured through superficially developed software application.
A detailed App oriented training was imparted by Musadiq Hussain, Deputy Director Directorate of Economics & Statistics. The training was imparted to 160 Master Trainers including Lecturers, Teachers, BLOs and Statistical personnel from districts associated with the programme. The notable attendees also include Mohammad Yousuf, Principal School of Applied Economics & Statistics, Srinagar and all the District Statistics & Evaluation Officers of Kashmir division.
