RAJOURI: In alignment with the nationwide campaign ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’, the District Administration Rajouri, under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, today organized grievance redressal camps across all 17 blocks of the district. This initiative, a cornerstone of the ‘Good Governance Week’ (December 19–24), is aimed at bringing the administration closer to rural communities for prompt grievances redressal and efficient service delivery.
The camps witnessed enthusiastic participation from Panchayat representatives, community leaders, and residents, who raised issues related to water supply, electricity, healthcare, education, road connectivity, and welfare schemes. Officers on duty ensured the immediate resolution of several grievances and directed concerned departments to address pending issues at the earliest.
To ensure smooth conduct and effective outcomes, 19 Nodal Officers were appointed to oversee the camps across all blocks. Speaking on the occasion, DC Rajouri emphasized the importance of responsive governance and urged officials to prioritize grassroots concerns for inclusive development.
Additionally, awareness was generated among the general public regarding key government initiatives such as Mission YUVA and Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs), highlighting their potential to empower the youth and farmers of the district.
The district administration reaffirmed its commitment to delivering good governance and bridging the gap between the administration and the public through such outreach programs. The Good Governance Week continues to reflect the administration’s resolve to ensure transparency, accountability, and development at the grassroots level.
