SHOPIAN: A new J&K Bank branch was today inaugurated and dedicated to the public by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar, at Block Headquarters Ramnagri in presence of senior officers of the J&K Bank.
The opening of branch, a long cherished demand of the area, aims to universalize financial inclusion, ensuring that everyone has access to financial services, particularly those in remote areas. The bank's efforts to expand its reach will undoubtedly contribute to the economic growth and development of the block, Shahid Saleem said on the occasion. He congratulated the local people and the bank for the feat on the occasion. The branch will facilitate access to all financial services, enabling individuals and businesses to participate in the economic mainstream, said Shabir Ahmad Bhat, Divisional Head, J&K Bank.
DDC Member, Safia Reyaz; ADC, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz; DIO, Showkat Hussain Ganie, Zonal Head, Pulwama - Shopian, Shaista Manzoor, Cluster Head, Shopian, Asaf Rasool, Cluster Head, Pulwama, M Umer, other staff of J&K Bank and locals in large numbers were present on the occasion. Locals who were present in hundreds were elated and rejoiced on the opening of the bank branch.
