JAMMU: Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, General Secretary, J&K BJP & MLA, Chander Prakash Ganga, senior leader, J&K BJP & MLA, and Arvind Gupta, Secretary J&K BJP & MLA held a public darbar at BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. Many people visited the BJP headquarters in the form of deputations as well as individually and presented their issues before the senior leaders of the party.
The issues shared consisted mostly of the development issues like construction and repair of lanes and drains, repair and installation of street lights, repair of high mast lights, sanitation issues, as well as individual issues related to the revenue department & Custodian department, and various other issues. The senior leaders of party gave a patient hearing to the issues presented before them and assured them for prompt action from their side. The leaders immediately communicated the issues to the officials of the concerned departments and batted for a time bound action on the issues to provide relief to the aggrieved.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, while speaking on the occasion, said that Jammu & Kashmir has undergone various hardships over the decades and as a result, the generations have suffered losses due to the blunders made by few. He said that while the Modi government has ensured that Jammu & Kashmir be put on the development path right from the beginning of Modi era in 2014, all the three regions under the erstwhile state of Jammu & Kashmir including Ladakh have benefited enormously after the revocation of Articles 370 & 35(a). He insisted the path to peace and progress has changed the image of Jammu & Kashmir from the capital of terrorism to the capital of tourism now.
Chander Prakash Ganga accused the NC government of trying to reverse the peace and progress initiatives taken by the Modi government. He said that the NC promised the moon to the voters of Jammu & Kashmir in the Assembly Elections but has utterly failed to deliver anything on the ground thus cheating the residents of Jammu & Kashmir.
Arvind Gupta added that the BJP is committed to the people of Jammu & Kashmir to serve them through all odds and stands with them steadfast in their all issues. He said that any aggrieved should visit BJP office with genuine issue and the BJP leaders will make full efforts to sort out the same.
