JAMMU: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emerged unchallenged leader across the world from the day he made a clarion call to all nations to unite against COVID-19 by hosting a video-conference of all SAARC countries. It is India under the decisive leadership of Modi which is confronting with corona’s brunt effectively when the might, money power and muscle power of the wealthiest nations in world have failed to tame the deadly virus.
This was stated by J&K BJP Vice President Yudhvir Sethi in a handout issued here on Wednesday. He said that the way PM Modi is leading the corona battle it is matter of days that India will emerge as Vishwa Vijeta in eliminating the lethal virus from its soil. He also applauded the universal approach of PM Modi by which he has inclusively roped in all the sections of people irrespective of their financial standing, political affiliations and religious background in fight against corona virus which will soon form the basis for success of this endeavour as people of all hues and sections have joined hands to kill the ruthless virus.
“Beyond any iota of doubt, the credit of taking stock of the situation precisely and thereby preventing it from blowing into a full-fledged contagion in India goes to PM Modi which even the opposition leaders have also endorsed openly. Another feather in the hat of PM Modi is that he as global personality never shirked and is helping countries beyond India’s borders to fight corona telling the world loud and clear that India is on top in dealing with the spiraling threat from corona”, Yudhvir asserted.
He said that PM has provided decisive leadership in asking Indians to stay home during lockdown till April 14 and then till May 3 under lockdown 2.0 so that Indians as a nation are collectively able to defeat this global coronavirus pandemic. “The endeavour has united the resolve of 1.3 billion Indians to undertake sacrifices to defeat the virus. The Prime Minister rose above any political or vote-bank considerations and took the unprecedented step of lockdown to save Indians from killer COVID-19 virus.
Entire world is impressed by India’s actions of lockdown and social distancing which became evident by the statement of WHO head describing Indian initiatives as very, very important”, Sethi said and added that PM Narendra Modi's is getting unprecedented support from majority of people in the country in this difficult time despite trail of hardships they are facing due to worst ever restrictions. Yudhvir said that this victory of Indians against corona under the leadership of PM will be written in history with golden words.
